Who controls your data
The data controller is xpand. — the company behind Smoothie. The full legal name, address and registration details land with the final text.
What we collect
Different data for the two sides of Smoothie:
- Blender application: name, city, email, phone and your answers to the casting questions.
- The challenge video you upload with your application.
- Blender profile: portrait, showreel, finished videos and the details we cast you by.
- Brand: company name, contact person, email, phone and billing details.
Where it is stored
The database and files live in Supabase, video in Mux — both in European regions.
How long we keep it
- Applications: 12 months.
- Blender profiles: for as long as the profile is active.
Who processes it for us
We work with providers that process data on our behalf:
- Mux — video hosting, processing and streaming.
- Supabase — database, account sign-in and file storage.
- Twilio — SMS messages from Smoothie.
- Resend — email from Smoothie.
- Stripe — brand invoices and payments.
- PostHog — site usage analytics, only after you agree.
- Vercel — website hosting.
Your rights
At any time you can ask for:
- access to the data we hold about you;
- correction of wrong or incomplete data;
- erasure of your data;
- restriction of processing;
- a copy of your data in a machine-readable format;
- objection to processing;
- withdrawal of a consent you have already given;
- a complaint to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection.

Cookies
Two categories, nothing more:
- Essential — the site does not work without them: language, sign-in, which side of Smoothie you're on, light or dark theme. Always on.
- Analytics (PostHog) — only after you explicitly agree in the banner. Without that, the script is never loaded at all.
